Ashley Marie Lagrange is . . .

Ashley Marie Lagrange (They/Them) is a Queer, Neurodivergent, Fat, Black, Dominican-American Nonbinary Femme. They are a Licensed Professional Counselor + Collage Artist born, raised and currently located in occupied Lenapehoking territory known as Queens, New York.

Ashley creates space for casual, transparent conversation.

Ashley began writing and using imagery to create an archive of the self in their journals.

 

Given their first film camera in the 6th grade, Ashley began having an interest in photography and what they now identify as personal archival.

 
 

How we can work together

Individual Counseling

Ashley provides 1:1 counseling sessions to individuals. These 50 minute sessions are often filled with feelings check ins, processing, and skill acquisition through talk therapy. EMDR or Brainspotting sessions will be structured on a case by case basis, together.

Workshop Facilitation

Ashley is available to facilitate workshops on various topics. They have facilitated original workshops on Radical Vulnerability, Radical Journaling, Exploring the Erotic During COVID19, Fat Liberation, Grief during the holidays, and Collaging as a processing activity.

Consulting

For businesses that seek Anti-Oppressive, Inclusive, Trauma Informed services from a Disability Justice lens.Ashley can provide content for educational purposes for businesses to reassess their employee or consumer engagement, and more.

 

Service Population

 

Ashley finds the best client matches to be individuals who are motivated to make change in their life, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, folks of marginalized genders, ages 17-45, and Black, Indigenous and People of Color (IPoC) populations.

Their population focus has been influenced by their Fatness, Blackness, Queerness, and life as a Neurodivergent individual. Their work has focused heavily on Grief, Eating Disorders in communities of color, Identity development, Boundary Setting, Interpersonal Communication, and QTBIPoC (Queer, Transgender, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) lived experience.
